Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements
  • Conduct financial analysis and evaluate company performance
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with tax legislation and supervise the preparation of tax returns
  • Manage cash flow and ensure proper accounting of financial transactions
  • Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Manage and update accounting records for fixed assets and inventory
  • Calculate VAT and other taxes
  • Execute payments based on outsourced payroll data
  • Supervise and manage a small accounting team
  • Conduct cost and profitability analyses
  • Perform opening and closing procedures for accounting periods

Requirements:

  • Higher education in finance or accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chief Accountant (experience in the trade sector is preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax legislation, with the ability to track changes
  • Experience in preparing and submitting tax, statistical, and other government reports
  • Accurate accounting of bank and cash transactions
  • Proficiency in 1C 8.3 software
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including MS Excel
  • PMS certification (ACCA/DipIFR is an advantage)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under stress and make prompt decisions
